With Monzo since July for Crypto Currency purchases only. Transferring £1-2k per month and then using card to buy crypto. Over the last week though I transferred 10k total to invest. I then got a message saying they are prohibiting crypto purchases from m

Monzo have banned payments to Gemini now. Becoming a bit more unfriendly like the rest of them it seems.

Been regularly buying £250-£1000 through CBP during 20/21. Never had a single issue.

Been buying 2k at a time from cbp since early 2019 no issues

Banned deposit/withdrawal to Kraken

Closed my account as used to buy crypto. £10K at a time and didn’t sit right with their risk profile.

I have directly interacted with Monzo representatives and they are perfectly happy for the account to be used for personal crypto trading, purchasing and the like.
