About Banco Kwanza Invest in Angola
Banco Kwanza Invest (BKI) was a defunct Angolan commercial bank that operated until its closure in January 2021. The bank was privately held and served both individual and institutional clients in Angola. Its major shareholder was Swiss-Angolan businessman Jean-Claude Bastos de Morais, who was also associated with the management of Angola's Sovereign Wealth Fund through his Quantum Group.
The bank faced significant financial difficulties in its final years, recording substantial losses that ultimately led to its dissolution.
