Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A., known as BBVA, is a Spanish multinational financial services company and one of the largest banks in the world. Headquartered in Bilbao with operational headquarters in Madrid, BBVA is Spain's second-largest bank after Banco Santander.

As of December 2024, BBVA had approximately €772 billion in total assets, 125,916 employees, 77.2 million customers, and operations in more than 25 countries. The bank has strong market leadership in Spain, Mexico (where it is the largest financial institution), South America, Turkey (through Garanti BBVA), and the United States Sunbelt region.

BBVA is listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange, New York Stock Exchange, and Mexican Stock Exchange, and is a component of the IBEX 35 and Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 indices.
