Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito CECOMSAP is a specialized credit union (COOPAC) based in Juliaca, in the Puno region of Peru. The cooperative focuses on serving formal small-scale miners and micro-entrepreneurs in the mining sector. CECOMSAP was created as the financial arm of the formal mining community in Ananea, providing credit and savings services to an underserved sector that traditionally lacked access to conventional banking.
