The bank is one of Ethiopia's most profitable and fastest-growing financial institutions, with total assets exceeding ETB 223 billion (approximately USD 1.9 billion), over 753 branches, and more than 15.4 million account holders as of 2024.

The bank specializes in serving micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the farming and agricultural sector, which contributes over 80% of Ethiopia's national economy.
