Bancoex (Banco de Comercio Exterior) is Venezuela's state-owned foreign trade bank, created to promote and finance the export of Venezuelan goods and services. The institution serves as Venezuela's export-import bank (Eximbank), providing specialized support to the country's export sector.
The bank operates as a public institution organized as a joint-stock company (compañía anónima) with independent assets from the National Treasury.
