SGPME

SGPME (Société de Garantie des Crédits aux Petites et Moyennes Entreprises Ivoiriennes) is a state-owned financial guarantee institution operating in Côte d'Ivoire. It is a specialized financial institution with a banking character that provides credit guarantees to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The institution operates as a société anonyme (public limited company) with a board of directors and a capital of 10 billion CFA francs, entirely owned by the Ivorian State. SGPME serves as the operational arm of the government for SME financing, facilitating access to bank credit by sharing financing risks with commercial banks and financial institutions.
