About FECECAV in Togo

FECECAV (Faîtière des Entités des Caisses d'Épargne et de Crédit des Associations Villageoises) is a microfinance network in Togo specializing in village savings and credit services. It operates as a decentralized financial system (Système Financier Décentralisé) under the regulatory framework of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UMOA).

The network consists of 12 base caisses (savings and credit cooperatives) that serve rural and semi-urban communities. As of recent data, FECECAV operates 50 service points, including 12 caisses and 38 agencies, primarily in the Maritime and Plateaux regions of southern Togo.

FECECAV has established itself among the top 15 largest microfinance institutions in Togo, serving communities that traditionally have limited access to conventional banking services.
