ACEP Burkina (Agence de Crédit pour l'Entreprise Privée du Burkina) is a microfinance institution operating in Burkina Faso that specializes in providing financial services to micro, very small, and small enterprises in urban and peri-urban areas. ACEP Burkina is part of ACEP International, a microfinance network that operates across five African countries: Senegal, Madagascar, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, and Nigeria. The institution focuses on individual lending rather than group lending, setting it apart from many traditional microfinance competitors. With a social capital equivalent to approximately €1.2 million at founding, ACEP Burkina has grown to become the second-largest microfinance institution in the country.
