Addis Intern­ational Bank

Addis International Bank (AdIB) is a private commercial bank operating in Ethiopia. As of 2023, the bank had total assets of approximately 34.1 billion Birr (approximately 849 million USD) and serves customers through a network of over 90 branches across Ethiopia.

The bank is a collective formation of shareholders including cooperatives, microfinance institutions, iddirs (traditional community organizations), other business organizations, and individual citizens. With over 8,500 shareholders and more than 280,000 account holders, AdIB positions itself as an inclusive banking institution serving all income groups of Ethiopian society.
