Caisse Centrale du Crédit Mutuel is the central financial institution of the Crédit Mutuel group, one of France's top five banking groups. Operated by the Confédération Nationale du Crédit Mutuel (CNCM) in Paris, it serves as the financial coordination entity for the entire Crédit Mutuel network, which includes over 30 million customers across France.
The institution manages liquidity for regional groups and organizes financial solidarity across the Crédit Mutuel cooperative banking system. As a cooperative bank (société anonyme coopérative à capital variable), its capital is held by the various regional federal banks (caisses fédérales) that comprise the Crédit Mutuel network.
