UBAF

UBAF (Union de banques arabes et françaises) is a specialized French consortium bank focused on international trade finance. Established as a credit institution under French law, UBAF operates primarily in trade finance services between Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Arab world.

The bank is a collaborative venture with a distinctive shareholder structure. Crédit Agricole CIB holds 47.01% of the capital and serves as the reference shareholder, while the remaining 52.99% is owned by banks and financial institutions from 19 Arab countries. As of 2023, UBAF reported total assets of approximately €1.9 billion and net income of €21.2 million.

UBAF holds a Fitch rating of A- (high credit quality), reflecting its strong financial position and backing from major international banking partners.
