Banco BAI Microfinanças is a microfinance institution in Angola, operating as a subsidiary of Banco Angolano de Investimentos (BAI), the country's leading private bank. Originally established as Angola's first specialized microfinance institution, the bank focuses on providing financial services to underserved populations and small businesses. The institution was formerly known as Novo Banco and has undergone ownership transitions, with prominent Angolan investor António Mosquito acquiring the bank in August 2020 with plans to transform it into a full commercial bank.
