First Women Bank (FWBL) is a specialized commercial bank in Pakistan focused on women's economic empowerment and financial inclusion. Established as a scheduled commercial bank, FWBL operates as both a traditional banking institution and a development financial institution dedicated to meeting the unique banking needs of women entrepreneurs and professionals. The bank serves women across all economic levels, from microfinance borrowers to SME and corporate clients.

In October 2025, the bank underwent a significant ownership transition when the Government of Pakistan sold its 82.64% stake to the Abu Dhabi-based International Holding Company (IHC) for approximately $14.6 million. This marked the first bank privatization in Pakistan conducted under a Government-to-Government framework.
