The Bank of Morocco Representative Office refers to Bank Al-Maghrib (Arabic: بنك المغرب), the central bank of the Kingdom of Morocco. As Morocco's central banking institution, Bank Al-Maghrib is a public legal entity with financial autonomy, responsible for monetary policy, currency issuance, banking supervision, and financial system stability. The bank manages Morocco's foreign exchange reserves, which were valued at approximately US$36 billion as of 2008, and oversees the country's payment systems while supervising commercial banks and other credit institutions operating within Morocco.

Bank Al-Maghrib plays a pivotal role in Morocco's economic development, serving as the government's financial advisor and representing Morocco in international financial institutions including the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, and Bank for International Settlements (BIS).
