Banque de Financement des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises (BFPME) is a specialized Tunisian development bank focused on financing small and medium enterprises (SMEs). As a state-owned banking institution, BFPME was created to address the financing gap for SMEs in Tunisia and to support entrepreneurship, particularly in regional areas.

With a capital of 100 million Tunisian dinars, BFPME operates as a co-financing bank, partnering with commercial banks to provide credit to SME projects ranging from 100,000 to 15 million dinars. The bank employs approximately 123 staff members with an 83% management cadre rate, including specialized financial analysts, engineers, and legal experts.
