COMUBA (Coopérative des Membres Unis Béthel Actions) is a specialized microfinance cooperative in Benin focused on financing women's groups and solidarity organizations. Created in 2000 and receiving official authorization in 2008 under number L08.0030A./MEF/DC/SGM/SSFD/SRE, COMUBA has evolved from a small rotating savings group to a significant microfinance institution serving over 2,800 active borrowers. As of 2014, the institution managed a gross loan portfolio of approximately 1.4 billion FCFA, with 89% of clients residing in rural areas.
