Finagro

Finagro (Fondo para el Financiamiento del Sector Agropecuario) is Colombia's specialized agricultural development bank dedicated to financing the rural and agricultural sector. Established as a second-tier bank, Finagro does not lend directly to farmers but instead channels resources through financial intermediaries including banks, cooperatives, and microfinance institutions. As a mixed-economy corporation organized as a credit establishment with a special regime, Finagro is part of the Grupo Bicentenario under the Ministry of Finance and is supervised by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia.
