Bank of Kigali (BK) is the largest commercial bank in Rwanda by total assets, holding a commanding market share of approximately 33.6% of the country's banking sector. Licensed by the National Bank of Rwanda, the bank operates as a universal banking institution serving retail customers, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), corporate clients, and providing treasury services.

As of December 2019, Bank of Kigali's total assets were valued at approximately US$1.1 billion, with a loan book of $735.8 million, customer deposits of $697.4 million, and shareholders' equity of US$239.6 million. The bank has consistently earned recognition as Rwanda's best bank from prestigious international publications including Euromoney, The Banker, Global Finance Magazine, and EMEA Finance.
