Basler Kanton­albank

Basler Kantonalbank (BKB) is a Swiss cantonal bank and universal banking institution operating primarily in northwestern Switzerland. Founded in 1899, it is one of 24 cantonal banks serving Switzerland's 26 cantons. As of 2024, BKB ranks among the top ten largest Swiss banking groups by total assets, with CHF 55.9 billion in assets and approximately 1,230 employees serving over 600,000 customers.

The bank is an independent public institution owned by the Canton of Basel-Stadt and benefits from a full state guarantee on its liabilities. BKB Group includes Bank Cler, a digital bank with physical presence in urban areas, which BKB has owned in full since 2019.
