About Banca Privata Leasing in Italy

Banca Privata Leasing S.p.A. is an Italian bank based in Reggio nell'Emilia, Emilia-Romagna. Founded in 1987 as Privata Leasing S.p.A. by Erminio Spallanzani, it began as a leasing company before transforming into a full bank in 2011. The Banca Privata Leasing Group includes the parent bank and subsidiaries ADV Finance S.p.A. and ADV Family S.r.l., both specialized in "cessione del quinto" (salary-backed loans) and consumer finance. Positioning itself as a challenger bank, the institution serves individuals, SMEs, and professionals with a focus on facilitating access to credit for local businesses.

In September 2025, the Spallanzani family, through Privata Holding S.r.l., announced the sale of 83% of the bank's share capital to Next.us S.p.A., part of the group led by entrepreneur Alberto Di Tanno. The transaction, expected to close by the first quarter of 2026 pending regulatory approvals, includes a significant capital increase to strengthen the bank's capital position and support future development.
