About Bank NTB Syariah in Indonesia
Bank NTB Syariah is a regional development bank (Bank Pembangunan Daerah) operating as a full-fledged Islamic bank in Indonesia. The bank is owned by the Provincial Government of Nusa Tenggara Barat (West Nusa Tenggara) together with the city and district governments throughout the province. Originally established as a conventional regional development bank, Bank NTB Syariah converted to sharia banking operations in 2018, becoming one of Indonesia's regional banks to fully embrace Islamic banking principles.
As of Q3 2023, Bank NTB Syariah recorded total assets of Rp 14.09 trillion and maintains a strong focus on supporting regional economic development through sharia-compliant financing and banking services.
