Clearstream Europe (formerly Clearstream Banking AG until September 26, 2025) is Germany's main national central securities depository (CSD) and a leading post-trade infrastructure provider within the Deutsche Börse Group. As one of the world's largest settlement and custody firms, Clearstream Europe operates as a credit institution specializing in securities settlement, custody, and asset servicing across domestic and international markets.

The institution serves as the largest single-entry point to TARGET2-Securities (T2S), the pan-European settlement platform of the European Central Bank, consistently handling over 50% of the entire T2S volume.
