AlexBank, officially known as Bank of Alexandria, is one of the largest private sector commercial banks in Egypt. The bank provides retail, corporate, and investment banking services throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt. AlexBank is a key subsidiary of Intesa Sanpaolo Group, one of Europe's largest banking groups, which has held majority ownership since the bank's privatization in 2006.
