Habib Bank Limited (HBL) is a Pakistani multinational commercial bank headquartered at Habib Bank Plaza in Karachi, with regional offices in Lahore and Islamabad. As Pakistan's oldest bank post-independence and its largest private sector bank, HBL operates internationally across 25 countries on multiple continents, including a presence in Lebanon.
The bank is majority-owned by the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED), which acquired 51% shareholding in 2004, with the remaining shares publicly traded.
