As a member-owned financial institution, it serves its affiliates (members) through cooperative principles of mutual aid, democratic participation, and social responsibility. The cooperative operates under the regulatory supervision of CONSUCOOP (Consejo Nacional Supervisor de Cooperativas), Honduras's national cooperative supervisory council.
