First Nations Bank of Canada (FNBC) is the first and only Indigenous-owned Schedule 1 federally regulated chartered bank in Canada. As a full-service commercial bank, FNBC specializes in providing financial services tailored to Indigenous communities, including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples, as well as non-Indigenous customers operating in Indigenous markets. The bank operates nationwide with a network of full-service branches and community banking centres across multiple provinces and territories.

FNBC is majority owned by Indigenous shareholders, who hold over 80% of the bank's ownership interest. The bank focuses on both retail and commercial banking, with particular emphasis on commercial real estate financing, which represents 20-25% of its loan portfolio.
