Social Islami Bank PLC (SIBPLC) is a Shariah-compliant Islamic bank in Bangladesh operating in accordance with Islamic Shariah law principles that forbid usury. Established as one of Bangladesh's pioneering Islamic financial institutions, the bank serves individuals and businesses through a three-tier banking model comprising formal, non-formal, and voluntary services. As of January 2025, the bank operates 181 branches including 22 Authorized Dealer branches, 238 sub-branches, and 377 agent banking outlets throughout Bangladesh with approximately 4,000 employees.
