Cannot use RBC credit card to buy crypto at all. Confirmed by bank rep.

RBC outright banned direct cryptocurrency related transactions a while ago. The only option now is eTransfer or wire transfer.

RBC allows e-Transfers from your debit. Will not allow VISA use to buy. Buy on Shakepay, Sell on Coinbase (coinbase to paypal to bank)

Called today, 5/9/2021, told they no longer allow customers to buy crypto. Unacceptable.

My cards were rejected on several brokers. Called customer service and they said they don't allow crypto purchase with any of their products. Considering changing banks.

RBC customers who use Shakepay, beware. Seems they are cracking down. Just had my account shut down for 48 hours because of a Shakepay transfer that got blocked

allows paypal deposit and etransfers to shakepay to buy. does not allow coinbase debit purchases.

Made many transfers to Newton, and also NDAX. Nothing problematic so far. Can't use credit cards though, and never tried wire transferring yet.

According to bitcoinexchangeguide.com, RBC has patents out and is researching opening its own exchange. RBC should be considered a #1 bank in Canada for crypto if this is true

They seem to be on the fence about crypto but haven't out-rightly shut or freeze accounts like CIBC. They're crypto-friendly-ish as stated by another user. You can still buy crypto with your account funds and get money sent from exchanges into your accoun

They removed RBC credit cards and interact to exchanges. I think wire transfer works, and e-transfer. So I'll vote crypto friendly-ish.

RBC has a zero tolerance policy on crypto. While their interac online funding does work for crypto at first with time they will zero in on this. NOT crypto friendly

It stopped being crypto friendly recently. They blocked QuadrigaCX.

RBC is the best bank to deal with for crypto! Most easily linked accounts to QuadrigaCX which enables instant transfer to the exchange to purchase crypto!
