Bank Resona Perdania is the first joint venture bank in Indonesia, representing economic cooperation between Indonesia and Japan in the banking sector. Established in 1956, the bank provides comprehensive financial solutions including lending, funding, treasury services, and trade finance. Bank Resona Perdania serves both local Indonesian companies and Japanese corporations operating in Indonesia, acting as an intermediary for business opportunities between the two countries.

As of March 2024, the bank is primarily owned by two major Japanese banks: Resona Bank, Ltd. (48.44%, the 4th largest bank in Japan) and The Bank of Yokohama, Ltd. (30.00%, the largest regional bank in Japan), along with Daido Life Insurance Company (14.90%).
