About Caisse Populaire Sainte Anne in Haiti

Caisse Populaire Sainte Anne (CPSA) is one of Haiti's oldest and most established savings and credit cooperatives, serving members in the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area. Operating under the supervision of the Banque de la République d'Haïti (BRH), CPSA is a member institution of both ANACAPH (Association Nationale des Caisses Populaires Haïtiennes) and Le Levier, the federation of Haitian credit unions. The institution has multiple service locations in the Ouest department, making it one of the more accessible credit unions in the capital region.

CPSA is recognized as one of the country's oldest credit unions and has survived significant challenges, including the 2002 financial crisis that devastated Haiti's cooperative sector when unregulated pyramid schemes collapsed.
