Banque Populaire du Maroc, commonly known as Chaabi or operating under the umbrella of BCP Group (Groupe Banque Centrale Populaire), is Morocco's second-largest banking group and a major financial services institution headquartered in Casablanca. As of 2024, the group holds the largest deposit base in Morocco, with consolidated deposits totaling MAD 372 billion and consolidated loans standing at MAD 319.4 billion.
The banking group operates through a unique cooperative structure centered around the Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) as its central entity, along with eight regional Banques Populaires Régionales. This organizational model distinguishes it from conventional commercial banks in Morocco's banking system.
