Sparda-Bank West is a large German cooperative bank (Genossenschaftsbank) specializing in retail banking services for private customers. Headquartered in Düsseldorf, it is the second-largest Sparda-Bank in Germany by balance sheet after Sparda-Bank Baden-Württemberg. The bank serves members and customers across nearly all of North Rhine-Westphalia and parts of Lower Saxony, including Emsland, East Frisia, and the former Land Oldenburg. The bank operates 42 branches (as of June 2025) and employs approximately 5,800 staff across the Sparda-Bank group.
