Caja Santa María is a savings and loan cooperative (Sociedad Cooperativa de Ahorro y Préstamo) operating in the state of Tlaxcala, Mexico. As an authorized SOCAP, the institution provides savings, credit, and financial services exclusively to its member-owners under cooperative principles of mutual aid, democratic governance, and community development.
The cooperative is regulated by Mexico's Comision Nacional Bancaria y de Valores (CNBV) and offers deposit insurance protection through the Fondo de Proteccion up to 25,000 UDIs per member.
