Banque de Développement Local (BDL) is a state-owned public bank in Algeria specializing in supporting local economic and social development. With over 40 years of experience, BDL serves a diversified client base ranging from individuals and small businesses to local government entities and SMEs.
The bank operates a network of 164 branches across all 48 Algerian provinces (wilayas). In December 2024, BDL became the second Algerian public bank to list on the Algiers Stock Exchange, opening 30% of its capital to public investors.
