Founded by Valencian cooperativists and members of COVIPO (Cooperativa de Viviendas Populares), it serves cooperatives, families, businesses, commercial establishments, institutions, and associations throughout the Valencian Community. As a second-degree cooperative, Caixa Popular integrates cooperatives from various economic sectors including consumption, furniture, textiles, glass, services, education, housing, ceramics, toys, and metallurgy. The cooperative is worker-owned, with employees being cooperative members.
