About Dünya Katılım Bankası in Turkiye
Dünya Katılım Bankası is a participation bank (Islamic bank) operating in Turkey. It is Turkey's only privately-owned, domestically-funded participation bank with a branch network. The bank provides Shariah-compliant banking services to both individual and corporate customers, operating without interest-based products.
As of December 26, 2023, the bank operates under the ownership of Ahlatcı Holding, a major Turkish conglomerate with operations in finance, precious metals, energy, defense, and real estate. Dünya Katılım Bankası is regulated by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) and supervised by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey.
