Bank Australia

Bank Australia is Australia's first customer-owned bank, based in Collingwood, Victoria. As a values-based financial institution, it operates as a certified B Corporation, prioritizing environmental sustainability and social responsibility alongside financial performance.

With over 192,000 customer-members as of 2024, Bank Australia distinguishes itself through its commitment to ethical banking practices. The bank is a member of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values and has been carbon neutral since 2011.

In July 2025, Bank Australia completed a merger with Qudos Bank, creating one of Australia's largest customer-owned banks with approximately 300,000 customers and nearly $20 billion in total assets. The bank is also acquiring Australian Unity's banking business, with completion expected in late 2025.
