Cooperativa Mixta Mujeres en Acción Limitada

Cooperativa Mixta Mujeres en Acción Limitada, commonly known as COMIXMAL, is a savings and credit cooperative based in El Progreso, Yoro, Honduras. Founded by women micro-entrepreneurs from local markets, the cooperative provides financial services primarily to underserved communities in the El Progreso area.

The cooperative specializes in savings and credit products designed for small-scale merchants, entrepreneurs, and families who traditionally lack access to conventional banking services. As of 2004, the cooperative served approximately 540 members and has established itself as a stable financial institution in the region.
