National Bank of Oman (NBO)

National Bank of Oman (NBO) is a universal commercial bank and the first locally incorporated bank in the Sultanate of Oman. Established as a joint stock company in 1973, NBO is one of the largest banks in Oman with a comprehensive presence across retail, corporate, investment, and Islamic banking segments. The bank's shares are listed on the Muscat Securities Market and it operates under licenses from the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) and the Capital Market Authority (CMA). As of recent reporting, NBO serves approximately 491,785 retail customers and 24,282 corporate and SME customers through its extensive branch and digital banking network.
