The society operates under License No. BPNG04-011 in accordance with Section 7 of the Savings and Loans Society Act 2015.

FPSSSLSL is a member-based financial cooperative that promotes thrift and financial responsibility among its members. The society exists to receive savings from members as contributions for shares or on deposit, and to make loans to members for purposes of improving their lifestyle and economic wellbeing.
