National Bank of the Virgin Islands

National Bank of the Virgin Islands is a government-owned commercial bank headquartered in Road Town, Tortola, in the British Virgin Islands. As the territory's only indigenous banking institution, it operates as a full-service commercial bank providing retail and business banking products and services to domestic customers.

The bank is majority-owned by the Government of the Virgin Islands (67%) with the Social Security Board holding the remaining minority stake (33%). As of 2021, the bank reported total assets of approximately $278 million USD.
