Caja Popular Tomatlan is a savings and loan cooperative (Sociedad Cooperativa de Ahorro y Préstamo) based in Jalisco, Mexico. Founded over 40 years ago in the municipality of Tomatlan, it has grown to become the leading cooperative in the Costa Alegre region. The cooperative serves thousands of members across multiple municipalities in coastal Jalisco and Nayarit.
With more than 10,000 active adult members and over 3,000 active minor savers, Caja Popular Tomatlan provides accessible financial services to communities that have historically been underserved by traditional banking institutions.
