About Bank Respublika in Azerbaijan

Bank Respublika is a private commercial bank operating in Azerbaijan with a strategic focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the non-oil and gas sectors. As of 2023, the bank holds deposits worth over USD 700 million (approximately AZN 1.2 billion), making it the fifth largest bank in Azerbaijan.

The bank is majority owned by the Guliyev family (75%), with significant participation from two major German financial institutions: German Investment Corporation (DEG), a member of KfW banking group, and Sparkassen International Development Trust (SIDT), a member of Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. This international ownership structure provides both credibility and access to European banking expertise.
