Capital Bank of Central Asia is a state-owned commercial bank operating in Kyrgyzstan. The bank became fully state-owned in April 2025 when 100% of its shares were transferred to the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In 2025, Capital Bank was designated as the settlement institution for a pilot project involving cross-border Russian ruble transactions, making it the exclusive channel for certain ruble-related financial operations in Kyrgyzstan. The bank serves both retail and corporate clients across the country.
