Agrobank is a state-owned universal commercial bank and the third-largest bank in Uzbekistan by market share (10.2%). Originally focused on agricultural financing, the bank has evolved into a comprehensive financial institution serving over 300,000 businesses and more than 3 million individuals. As of year-end 2023, Agrobank had total assets of approximately $5.4 billion, a gross loan portfolio of $4.8 billion, and total equity of $931.3 million.

The bank operates as the government's primary agent for state-sponsored subsidized lending to the agricultural sector and small family businesses in rural regions. Agrobank is 98.84% owned by the government through the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan.
