Metbank

Metbank is a Zimbabwean commercial bank operating a representative office in South Africa. Originally known as Metropolitan Bank of Zimbabwe, the bank serves corporate clients, small to medium enterprises, and individual customers.

Licensed by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, Metbank maintains its headquarters in Harare and established a representative presence in South Africa to facilitate cross-border banking relationships. As of December 2016, the bank had an asset base of approximately US$200.7 million with shareholders' equity of US$55.9 million.
