Atlantic Credit Unions

Atlantic Credit Unions represents a network of member-owned financial cooperatives operating in Atlantic Canada. These credit unions are part of the broader Atlantic Canadian credit union system, which provides banking services to over 300,000 members across the region. The credit unions operate under a cooperative model where members are also owners, emphasizing community-focused financial services.

The system is supported by Atlantic Central, which provides central banking services, liquidity management, and other supporting services to approximately 45 member credit unions throughout the Atlantic provinces.
