Real Estate Bank of Iraq

Real Estate Bank of Iraq (Arabic: المصرف العقاري العراقي) is a fully state-owned specialized bank focused on facilitating housing projects and real estate development through lending services. Operating as a self-financed economic unit with legal personality and financial and administrative independence, the bank serves as a cornerstone institution supporting Iraq's real estate sector and national housing initiatives.

The bank was established as one of Iraq's specialized purpose banks to address the country's housing needs. While primarily focused on residential financing, the bank has expanded its mandate to include tourism project loans and commercial banking activities in accordance with Iraqi Banking Law.
