Awash Bank

Awash Bank S.C. (Share Company) is Ethiopia's pioneering private commercial bank and one of the largest private banks in the country. Established following the end of the socialist regime, Awash Bank operates an extensive branch network serving retail, business, and institutional customers. The bank is named after the Awash River, a vital waterway in Ethiopia used for irrigation, hydroelectricity generation, and industrial activities.
